This is according to the latest Economic Impact Research (EIR) released by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

The report estimates that the UAE’s travel and tourism sector will support more than 925,000 jobs this year—an increase of over 26,000 positions from 2024. This growth highlights the country’s strong post-pandemic recovery and its strategic investments aimed at expanding the tourism sector.

Visitor Spending and Economic Growth Reach New Heights

According to WTTC projections, international visitor spending is set to reach a record AED 228.5 billion in 2025—a 37% increase compared to the previous high in 2019.
