The district administration has launched a crackdown against illegal indoor sheesha cafes operating in violation of court orders across the federal capital.
According to officials, seven sheesha cafes have been sealed in sectors F-6, F-7, and E-7, while seven individuals have been taken into custody.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad stated that strict action will be taken against the responsible officers of any area where indoor sheesha cafes are found operating unlawfully.
A well-known indoor sheesha cafe in Sector E-7 was also sealed by the Assistant Commissioner (City) for continuing operations despite clear court directives.
The DC has directed authorities to take action citywide against all cafes defying judicial orders, emphasizing that no violation will be tolerated.
