Eid-ul-Adha Holidays Announced for Courts Across Punjab

All courts in Punjab, including the Lahore High Court (LHC) and its subordinate courts, will remain closed from June 6 to June 9 in connection with Eid-ul-Azha, according to a notification issued with the approval of Chief Justice Aalia Neelum.

The holidays will apply to courts in Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, and other districts across the province.

LHC, session courts, and civil courts are scheduled to resume proceedings on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Earlier, the federal government also announced Eid-ul-Adha holidays.

As per the notification, public holidays will be observed on June 6, 7, 8, and 9 (Friday to Monday) across the country.

The announcement applies to both public and private offices that follow five-day and six-day working weeks.
