Pakistan Announces Scholarships for Students From Indian Occupied Kashmir

The federal government has proposed allocating Rs. 2.05 billion under the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) to award 1,600 scholarships to students from Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIJOK).

This initiative, revealed just days before the national budget, shows Pakistan’s commitment to educational support for students from the disputed region.

The scholarships will offer higher education opportunities to Kashmiri youth, enabling them to pursue academic advancement despite ongoing challenges.
