The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released a new weather alert warning of dust storms and rainfall across Punjab from June 25 to July 1.
While most parts of Punjab are expected to remain hot and humid, rainfall is predicted in cities like Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Lahore, and other surrounding areas.
Multan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Dera Ghazi Khan are likely to experience strong winds accompanied by dust storms, which may disrupt local activities.
The forecast for Islamabad and nearby areas indicates partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain during this period.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the weather will mostly remain humid and warm, but intermittent showers are expected in regions such as Dir, Swat, Haripur, and Abbottabad.
Sindh will continue to experience hot and sultry conditions, with particularly intense daytime temperatures in the upper and central districts.
Across Balochistan, the weather will largely stay dry and hot, particularly in the southern and eastern zones, where scorching heat is anticipated during the day.
Authorities urge citizens to take precautions during extreme weather events and stay updated with official advisories.
