It was only a matter of time before Samsung announced its next launch event, and it has finally happened. The Korean phone maker has confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event is taking place on July 9, 2025, in Brooklyn, New York, at 7PM PKT.
This confirms the recent leak from Evan Blass last week, who foretold that Samsung is going to host its next launch event on July 9. The event will be streamed live on YouTube as well as Samsung’s official website.
This Galaxy Unpacked is expected to announce Samsung’s next generation of Z foldables including the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, as well as a brand new model for the lineup, the Z Fold Ultra. This was confirmed by Samsung’s teaser trailer for the launch event which says “Ultra Unfolds” by the end.

It is also possible that the “Ultra Unfolds” is an entirely different device, especially since some rumors have said that a Galaxy Z Fold Ultra is unlikely to happen, so we will have to wait and see.
Keep in mind that Samsung has not confirmed which devices are going to feature at this event, only stating that the “next-generation Galaxy devices are being reimagined around a new AI-powered interface, supported by breakthrough hardware built to unlock their full potential.”
Rumors have said that alongside the expected Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, we are also going to see the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a long rumored cheaper version of the Z Flip 7, as the name suggests.
