Registration for Hajj 2026 Begins Across Pakistan

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially launched the registration process for Hajj 2026, urging all intending pilgrims—both local and overseas—to complete advance registration before the deadline of July 9.

According to the ministry, advance registration is mandatory for both the government and private Hajj schemes, and no fee is required at this stage. This step is crucial, as only those who register will be considered eligible to apply for next year’s pilgrimage.

The registration process can be completed at 15 designated banks across Pakistan. Overseas Pakistanis are also encouraged to register through the designated channels. The Ministry of Religious Affairs clarified that this registration is not a confirmation for Hajj, but a prerequisite to determine eligibility and allocation.

A spokesperson for the ministry stated that the early registration is being conducted in line with guidelines provided by the Government of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi authorities will determine each country’s Hajj quota based on the number of registered applicants.

The ministry urged all prospective pilgrims to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid any inconvenience and to ensure Pakistan receives its fair share of the Hajj quota.

Further details regarding the Hajj application process will be announced after the registration phase concludes.
