Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) has officially commenced the manufacturing and assembly of electric vehicles with a 300-kilometer range for Eco-Green Motors Limited (EGML), marking a significant milestone in Pakistan’s automotive sector.
The announcement was made in a disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday.
The company highlighted that this new development builds on its earlier agreement with EGML, under which DFML had already been producing electric vehicles with a 200-kilometer range.
“With the grace of Almighty Allah, we are pleased to inform you that in addition to 200 KM range of electric vehicles, Dewan Farooque Motors Limited has now commenced manufacturing/assembling of 300 KM range of electric vehicles for Eco-Green Motors Limited,” the company stated in its letter to the PSX. DFML also expressed gratitude to its stakeholders for their continued trust and confidence.
Earlier this week, DFML announced that over 300 units of its electric vehicle model, Honri-VE, have been successfully assembled and handed over to Eco-Green Motors Limited for onward delivery to customers.
