The price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs. 3,200 per tola and was traded at Rs.354,700 on Thursday as compared to its sale at Rs.351,500 on the last trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported.
The prices of 10 grams of 24 karat also increased by Rs. 2,744 to Rs. 304,098 from Rs. 301,354 and for 10 grams of 22 Karat it went up by Rs. 2,515 to Rs. 278,766 from Rs. 276,251.
The rates of per tola and ten-gram silver increased by Rs. 10 and Rs. 8 to Rs. 3,851 and Rs. 3,301 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $32 to $3,324 from $3,292, whereas that of silver increased by $0.1 to $36.67 from $36.57, the Association reported.
