The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) benchmark KSE-100 lost 165 points on Wednesday, a negative change of 0.12 percent, closing at 139,254 points against 139,419 points last trading day.
In a note, brokerage house Topline Securities said the market traded within a range throughout the session, moving between an intraday high of 140,202 and a low of 139,105, amid rollover-related pressure.
A total of 656,642,916 shares were traded during the day as compared to 629,032,405 shares the previous trading day, whereas the price of shares stood at Rs. 32.096 billion against Rs. 34.675 billion on the last trading day.
As many as 483 companies transacted their shares in the stock market, 211 of them recorded gains and 243 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 29 companies remained unchanged.
