  • It seems from the report that the pedestrian didn’t cross motorway, but only attempted to do so. Given the situation, Motorway police is treating an incorrect but bona fide act as an attempted suicide. But, the two scenarios are quite different from each other; in attempted suicide a person deliberately tries to take his life, while in crossing motorway one has no such intention though it is encircled with potential danger. As such, it is prima facie surprising that motorway police treats such act as on offence!

    • I support the comment posted by Mr. Zohair. Motorway police should start a public compaign for awareness of the general public.

  • This news is very shocking and strange.. Writer should have investigated the importan points as follows==
1- What are the easy explanations of Pakistan Penal Cdes- 290 and 291. So the Public is aware of our Policing Laws and Sentences Given under these LAWS??
2- Motoerway Police should explaing **How People living across M2 CAN CROSS TO LIVE IN THIER ANCASTRELS VILLAGES??**.
If anybody can Explain these two points I’ll be Much Obliged. Thanks

  • Only our police can do this. Other countries have given under passes at such points.
