Remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis increased by 7 percent year-on-year (YoY) to $3.21 billion during July 2025 compared to $2.9 billion during July 2024, according to latest data by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, remittances were down by 6 percent in July 2025 compared to inflows of $3.4 billion reported in June 2025.
A breakdown of the numbers shows that the highest inflows were registered from Saudi Arabia, coming in at $824 million, followed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at $665 million, the United Kingdom (UK) at $450 million, European Union (EU) countries at $424 million, and the United States (US) at $3270 million.
