Punjab Announces Thousands of New Scholarships

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the start of the second phase of the Honhaar Scholarship program, expanding opportunities to thousands more students across the province.

The announcement was made through a post on her official account on the social media platform X, where she addressed the youth directly, calling their dreams “the heartbeat of Punjab’s future.”

Maryam Nawaz highlighted that the program has already supported 80,000 students since its launch last year. Currently, 50,000 students are receiving scholarships, and an additional 30,000 will benefit soon.

She noted that Honhaar offers opportunities in 67 fields aimed at preparing students for future careers, equipping them with both skills and knowledge to succeed in life.

“The portal for the next phase of Honhaar is now open,” the Chief Minister said. She urged students to apply confidently, study with dedication, and keep believing in their potential.

The Honhaar Scholarship program was introduced to help talented students gain access to education and training that can improve their career prospects and contribute to the province’s development.

With the launch of its second phase, the initiative is set to further expand its reach and continue investing in the future of Punjab’s youth.
