The Deputy Commissioner of Attock has declared a local holiday in the district on Thursday, August 28, to mark the annual Urs of renowned Sufi saint Hazrat Sakhi Sultan in Attock Khurd.
According to the notification, all government offices and educational institutions under the district administration will remain closed on the day, with the exception of essential services.
The Urs of Hazrat Sakhi Sultan is observed each year with religious devotion, drawing devotees from across the region.
