Rainfall and Floods Result in Cancellation of Two Major Trains

Train operations in Pakistan continue to face setbacks as heavy rains and flooding hamper travel across the country. Pakistan Railways announced on Tuesday that two major passenger services will not run as scheduled.

The Pak Business Express was called off today after railway officials cited a sharp drop in passenger numbers. In addition, the Shah Hussain Express has been suspended for the next four days and is expected to resume on September 6, 2025.

To manage the disruption, passengers of the Pak Business Express are being shifted to the Karakoram Express, while those holding tickets for the Shah Hussain Express will be adjusted on the Green Line Express.
