Over 8,000 Liters of Toxic Milk Seized in Punjab

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has seized 8,600 liters of contaminated milk and confiscated a tanker during a raid on a milk collection center in Aslam Chowk, Kot Addu.

The raid was carried out under the supervision of Director Operations South, Shahzad Khan Magsi, after laboratory reports confirmed that the milk was adulterated.

According to PFA officials, the seized milk was being manufactured using powder and harmful chemicals. The collection center was immediately shut down, and a case was registered against its owner.

PFA Director General Muhammad Asim Javed said the destruction of thousands of liters of unsafe milk was part of the authority’s crackdown on food adulteration. He warned that strict measures would continue against those endangering public health.

“Businesses must follow the food safety laws. Anyone producing poison in the name of milk will be driven out of the market,” he added.
