Organic Meat Company Secures $7.5 Million Beef Export Orders from China

The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) announced on Tuesday that it has secured confirmed export orders worth $7.5 million for cooked and frozen boneless beef to be shipped to China during the financial year 2025–26.

The company said the breakthrough reflects its growing focus on high-value, processed halal meat products and positions it among the first Pakistani firms exporting value-added beef to the Chinese market.

According to TOMCL, the orders demonstrate compliance with China’s strict sanitary and phytosanitary standards, while catering to rising demand for halal protein solutions in the country’s food service and retail segments.

The development also comes against the backdrop of strengthening Pakistan-China trade ties under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor framework.

TOMCL noted that the contracts will boost its export revenue outlook for the year ahead and reinforce customer confidence in its operational standards. The company added that the achievement supports its strategy of diversifying export markets and moving up the value chain from commodity meat to higher-margin halal food products.

TOMCL said it remains committed to enhancing Pakistan’s profile in global halal food markets through innovation, compliance, and responsible sourcing.
