A high-level Saudi delegation is expected to visit Pakistan in October, sources from the Ministry of Commerce told ProPakistani.
The visit is anticipated to focus on boosting trade and investment ties between the two countries.
Furthermore, the possibility of a visit by the Saudi Crown Prince to Pakistan cannot be ruled out in the near future, according to sources. During the Saudi delegation’s visit, a Pakistan-Saudi Business Forum will be held to discuss opportunities for cooperation and trade expansion.
In a meeting to assess the prospects of increasing trade with Saudi Arabia, Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, along with other relevant officials, will participate in the discussions, sources revealed.
The meeting will explore potential Saudi investment in Pakistan’s infrastructure, oil sector, and digital economy. There is also expected to be an emphasis on enhancing collaboration in areas like information technology, energy, technology, and SMEs.
The relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is once again warming up, according to the Ministry of Commerce. Both countries have agreed to accelerate their efforts to strengthen cooperation in the trade sector, sources added.
