Federal Minister for Water Resources Muhammad Mueen Watto met with the Ambassador of Qatar to Pakistan, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, today.
During their discussion, Minister Watto condemned the recent Israeli attack on Qatar and expressed sincere condolences, along with best wishes from the government and people of Pakistan for the safety and well-being of Qatar. He reiterated that the people of Pakistan share a deep bond of affection and respect for their Qatari counterparts.
Watto also welcomed the recent move by several European nations to officially recognize Palestine, describing it as a step toward justice and peace in the region.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to supporting its Muslim allies and highlighted the country’s ongoing efforts to foster unity within the Muslim world.
On the topic of Pakistan’s skilled workforce, the Qatari Ambassador acknowledged Pakistan’s continued assistance and emphasized Qatar’s growing demand for skilled workers from Pakistan, expressing interest in increasing the number in the near future. He also recognized Pakistan’s abundant natural resources and reiterated Qatar’s strong support for Pakistan in any future challenges.
Minister Watto further noted Pakistan’s political and military leadership demonstrated its strength during the recent conflict with India.
The meeting concluded with both sides emphasizing the strength of bilateral relations and their mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation across various sectors.
