Sindh Police to Deliver E-Challans at Homes

The Sindh Police has taken another step toward digitalization and public facilitation as the Karachi Traffic Police completed a new phase of the “e-challan system” through an agreement with Pakistan Post.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Karachi Traffic Police and the Pakistan Post Office to ensure home delivery of traffic e-tickets.

Under the agreement, e-challans will be delivered within 24 hours across Karachi and up to Hyderabad, while areas beyond Hyderabad will receive them within three working days. Deliveries will take place during office hours, and records of every transaction will be maintained by Pakistan Post for 18 months.

The charges have been set at Rs26 per e-ticket for Karachi–Hyderabad local mail and Rs41 for areas outside this zone. The Sindh government will bear all delivery costs, ensuring no additional financial burden on citizens.
