A young woman was shot dead by her brother during a quarrel over a mobile phone in Kot Chado, a suburb of Daska, on Saturday. Police confirmed that 20-year-old Sadia Afzal was killed in the living room of her family home after a heated argument with her brother, Ehtesham Afzal.
Following the shooting, Ehtesham fled the scene along with his accomplice, identified as Muzammil. The victim’s father, Muhammad Afzal, alleged that his daughter was killed unjustly and demanded justice for her death.
Police said raids are being conducted to arrest the accused, while an investigation into the incident has been launched.
