Toyota dealerships across Pakistan are extending a limited-time service discount to customers who pay with HBL cards. According to the promotion, vehicle owners can receive up to 25 percent off on service and maintenance charges at authorized outlets nationwide.
The discount is advertised as being available at all Toyota dealerships; however, the exact services included under the concession remain unclear. Details such as whether the reduction applies to spare parts, labor charges, or routine maintenance packages have not yet been confirmed by either HBL or Toyota.
This is not the first time HBL and Toyota have partnered to introduce customer-focused financial and service benefits. Earlier, both organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding to offer preferred financing and insurance rates on selected Toyota models. That agreement allowed buyers to access fixed-markup financing, faster delivery, and dealership-based services through approved outlets.
Toyota has also offered prepaid maintenance programs at its dealerships. These programs cover scheduled servicing, inspections, and use of genuine parts, and they sometimes include value-added services such as complimentary car washes or polishing. The new HBL-linked promotion appears to build on this pattern of customer support through financial partnerships.
Important Considerations for Customers
While the discount may help reduce costs for vehicle owners, several aspects remain uncertain. Neither HBL nor Toyota has publicly clarified:
- The duration of the promotion
- Eligibility of different HBL card categories, such as debit or credit
- Whether the full 25 percent applies universally, or only to selected services
Because of these gaps, customers are advised to confirm details directly with their local Toyota dealership before scheduling service. Doing so will ensure clarity on what the discount covers and prevent unexpected costs.
