Made in Pakistan Cars Exported to 20 Countries

Pakistan’s automobile industry has reached a new milestone, exporting 434 locally assembled vehicles to 20 countries over the past three fiscal years, according to official data shared in the Senate.

Finance and Revenue Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb revealed the figures while responding to a question from Senator Shahadat Awan.

The exports included models of varying engine capacities, shipped to destinations such as Japan, Afghanistan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Lebanon, Liberia, Kenya, Solomon Islands, Nigeria, the United States, Djibouti, Mozambique, the Cayman Islands, Sri Lanka, China, Brunei Darussalam, Ghana, Togo, and Bangladesh.

Government data shows consistent growth in exports, both in units and value. In 2022–23, 100 vehicles worth Rs. 94.7 million were exported. The following year saw 107 units worth Rs. 388.2 million, while 2024–25 recorded the highest exports with 227 units valued at Rs. 936.9 million.

Eight manufacturers contributed to the exports, including Pak Suzuki Motor Co. Ltd., Sazgar Engineering Works Ltd., Honda Atlas Cars, United Auto Industries, Lucky Motor Corporation, Hyundai Nishat Motors, Master Changan Motors, and Indus Motor Company.

The exported lineup included Toyota Corolla Altis, Suzuki Alto and Swift, Honda City, mini-vans, SUVs, and electric rickshaws — highlighting Pakistan’s improving production standards and expanding presence in global markets.

  • In case of our three golden oldies, Toyota, Honda and Suzuki, it took them over three decades of operations locally to exports about a hundred or so cars. Should we be celebrating this or mourning it? However I hope this is not just a publicity stunt by them as always and they ACTUALLY try this time to achieve respectable export numbers.

    • Last time they exported old generation Honda city back to Japan just to pass these rules. Its very hard to believe if they are delivering actual orders. Most likely just importing back couple of units to meet the minimum requirements. Why would any country mentioned above with high security standards would buy sub standard security lacking cars.

    • You sound like a baljeet. So why don’t you shut up, and go back to drinking cow piss. We don’t need you or your hate, and negativity. Go away baljeet.

    • That’s purely a publicity stunt of both the manufacturers and the government that they are serving economy. These are cars only assembled in Pakistan not manufactured.

    • This was a requirement from the government that manufacturers were getting extension from again and again. Govt. has refused further extensions and now requires all manufacturers to start exporting a percentage of their car, the numbers rise over time from around 1-2 percent to like 5 percent

  • Didn’t you claim just few days ago that haval , chery, GVM and others will export cars from Pakistan in few months.

Now suddenly you claim we export them ?

And joining things is not manufactured

  • Correction….. Assembled in Pakistan & export quality (significantly different from low quality, strip down safety ones produced for local market), from parts imported from Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, as well as raw material / scrap metal from all over the World…. Our automotive industry was way more advance in 1960s & 70s !

    • Have you guts to manufacture and export them? If not then keep quite. We have to celebrate a little of we do.

    • Well said bro…..
And worst part of the srory is, they are not manufacturing, rather assembling things…..

    • help them at the grassroot level and accompany them before they flew the nest you will be the proudest pakistani

  • No transfer of technology.., i.e engine of any capacity still can’t be made indigenously in Pakistan… what to boast about; Assembling ???

  • Not ‘Made’ in Pakistan but ‘Assembled’ in Pakistan. The unfortunate will be those who buy this junk. And please do not misreport.

  • It seems people negatively commenting to this are Indian baljeets, spreading there hate and lies about Pakistan. To them I’ll say one thing, go back to drinking cow piss. And if somehow you are Muslim and living in Pakistan, and you say such negative things, shame on you, your parents failed to raise you, you are nothing but a failure, a piece of trash, so give us a favor and shutt your mouth.

  • الحمدللہ ، پاکستان پائندہ باد ، پاکستان ہمیشہ زندہ باد

  • How much we had spent on import to assemble these vehcles and how much we earned on export of these vehicles; both should be mentioned to assess the net benefit in terms of dollars earned. Anyway it’s appreciable.

  • LMAO…. Suzuki already stopped it’s pakistan operations…… Quit lying the IMF already caught you doctoring your books …..
