Motorola has introduced a new Moto G100 in China, updating its mid-range lineup with practical changes over the previous model. The new device is aimed at users who require extended battery life on a budget.
Design and Display
The Moto G100 (2025) comes with a 6.72-inch IPS LCD, offering a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen’s maximum brightness is rated at 1,050 nits. Motorola uses an air nano leather finish on the rear, and the phone’s overall dimensions are 166.23 x 76.5 x 8.6 millimeters, with a weight of 210 grams. IP64 certification is present for resistance against dust and splashes. The model includes stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Buyers can select from three color options: Star Black, Green, and Blue.
Internals and Software
This device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, manufactured on a 4nm process. It is paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with no support for microSD expansion. Out of the box, the Moto G100 runs Android 15 with Motorola’s Hello UI. The phone supports dual SIM 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB Type-C. Additional features include standard onboard sensors and a graphite cooling system to manage thermal performance during heavier use.
Cameras
The rear camera system consists of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide/macro lens. The front camera is a 32MP unit. The software offers several standard photography modes, and the device can record high-definition video with electronic image stabilization.

A primary update to the 2025 Moto G100 is its 7,000 mAh battery. Official specifications confirm 30W wired fast charging, although some retailers cite 33W. There is no support for wireless charging. The device is available in China for approximately $196 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
