A training aircraft made an emergency crash landing in Gujar Khan, a tehsil of Rawalpindi, after experiencing a technical fault.
According to officials, the Pakistan Airport Authority confirmed that the training aircraft was forced to make a crash landing due to an engine malfunction.
Sources said the aircraft belonged to the Rawalpindi Flying Club and had both a male and a female pilot onboard. The technical issue occurred mid-flight, prompting the pilots to carry out an emergency landing.
Thanks to the pilot’s skill, the aircraft was safely brought down in an open field. Both the pilot and the trainee pilot sustained minor injuries but are said to be in stable condition.
