Gujranwala Man Flees After Killing 50-Year-Old Wife and 22-Year-Old Daughter

A man killed his wife and daughter over a domestic dispute in Gujranwala, police confirmed on Friday.

According to officials, the victims were identified as 50-year-old Nusrat and 22-year-old Fariha. The suspect, identified as Khalid, fled the scene after the murders. Police from the Kot Ladha station have launched a search operation to arrest him.

Authorities said the initial investigation suggests the killings stemmed from ongoing family tensions.

This incident follows a similar case reported recently in Lahore, where a man fatally attacked four family members — his wife, daughter, father-in-law, and nephew — after a heated argument at home.

In that case, the suspect Imran allegedly used a knife to kill his wife Fauzia, daughter Zainab, nephew Raza, and father-in-law Mirza before escaping from the scene. Police said efforts to track down the suspect are ongoing.
