Pakistan has achieved a major breakthrough in the field of medical science by producing its first locally-manufactured advanced X-ray machine.
According to details, the cutting-edge device, developed in collaboration with China, has been named “I Care 50X.” The launch marks a significant step toward self-reliance in the country’s medical technology sector.
The newly developed X-ray machine matches international standards in performance and quality. Its estimated value in the global market ranges between Rs. 20 million and Rs. 25 million, highlighting the scale of Pakistan’s technological advancement in healthcare innovation.
A key feature of the “I Care 50X” is that all of its components will now be available locally, which is expected to reduce maintenance costs and dependency on foreign imports.
Officials described the project as a milestone for Pakistan’s medical equipment industry, emphasizing that locally produced machines will make diagnostic services more affordable for hospitals and clinics across the country.
