British-Pakistani Father and Son Drown in Sea Near Malta

A British-Pakistani father and his young son drowned in a tragic accident while on holiday in Malta. The victims, Raja Qudoos Banaras from Islamabad and his son, lost their lives after being swept away by strong sea waves.

According to reports, Raja Qudoos Banaras was vacationing in Malta with his family. He was swimming with his young son at the beach when, suddenly, powerful waves pulled the child into deeper water. In a desperate attempt to save his son, Raja Qudoos immediately jumped in after him. Sadly, both father and son were caught in the strong current and could not make it back to shore.

Local rescue teams launched a search operation as soon as they were alerted. After some time, both bodies were recovered from the sea and transported to a nearby hospital.

Police say initial evidence points to a tragic accident, with no signs of foul play involved.

The bereaved family has requested help from the Pakistani High Commission for the repatriation of the bodies. Meanwhile, relatives and friends in Islamabad are in deep shock and mourning. The local community is gathering to offer condolences, and a somber atmosphere prevails in the area.
