A serious accident occurred in Sheikhupura, Punjab, when a school bus plunged into a drain after being hit by a truck. The incident happened on the Sheikhupura bypass, according to rescue officials.
The collision caused the school bus to veer off the road and fall into the drain. As a result, 21 children were injured. Rescue teams responded quickly to the scene. Six children received first aid on the spot, while 15 others were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. The incident has raised concerns about road safety, especially for school transport in the region.
