Major Road Closures Announced for Dubai Ride 2025

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a comprehensive road closure plan for Dubai Ride 2025, the region’s largest community cycling event. The event will take place on Sunday, 2 November 2025.

Several key roads across Dubai will be closed from 3am to 10pm to ensure the safety of thousands of cyclists and the smooth running of the event. Closed roads include part of Sheikh Zayed Road between Trade Centre Roundabout and Al Hadiqa Bridge, Lower Financial Centre Street between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, and one direction of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard.

The RTA has urged motorists to plan their journeys in advance and use alternative routes to avoid delays. The authority stressed that these temporary closures are essential for the safety and success of the event, which promotes fitness, wellbeing, and active lifestyles in the city.

Traffic diversions and detailed road closure information are available on RTA’s official digital platforms and social media channels. The RTA thanked the public for their cooperation and understanding, highlighting that such events reflect Dubai’s commitment to a healthy, active, and inclusive urban culture.
