Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has officially confirmed that Grade 8 assessment exams will be held across the province.
Sharing an update on social media, the minister announced that the Grade 8 Assessment Exam will cover four subjects and will be conducted over four days. He wrote, “Inshallah, Grade 8 Assessment Exam will be conducted for four subjects over four days.”
Rana Sikandar also added that the smart syllabus for Grade 8 and Grade 11 will be announced next week, saying, “Smart syllabus for Grade 8 and Grade 11 to be announced next week, Inshallah.”
Earlier, the minister had confirmed that the smart syllabus for Grades 9 and 10 had already been uploaded on the official websites of all education boards and the School Education Department.
These steps are part of the provincial government’s ongoing efforts to make the academic process more structured, reduce the workload on students, and improve the overall evaluation system across Punjab.
