A tragic incident occurred at a tourist site in Abbottabad where a teenage girl lost her life after falling from a swing at Harno, a popular recreational area.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as a 17 to 18-year-old matric student from Nawan Shehar. Authorities confirmed that she fell from a swing at the Harno picnic point, resulting in fatal injuries.
After completing the postmortem, the girl’s body was handed over to her brother, police officials added.
Investigators are now looking into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy — particularly who accompanied the girl to the tourist site and how the fall occurred.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against the park owner and manager in connection with the death. The case was filed on behalf of the state under sections related to manslaughter.
