SP Adeel Akbar’s Widow to Receive Official Residence, Vehicle and Staff

The widow of SP Adeel Akbar has been allotted a government house at Police Lines Headquarters. According to the official order, the government will pay for all household expenses, including electricity, gas, and telephone bills. She will also receive a double-cabin official vehicle and a monthly fuel allowance of 1,000 liters.

The order states that three security guards, two drivers, a cook, a gardener, and a sweeper have been assigned to assist her. All these benefits will continue until the late officer’s retirement date.

SP Adeel Akbar, who served in Islamabad, died by suicide on Constitution Avenue on October 23, 2025.
