PML-N MNA’s Son Kills Young Boy

A tragic road accident in Sargodha claimed the life of a six-year-old boy and left four others injured after a car belonging to a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) struck two motorcycles.

According to details, the vehicle of PML-N MNA Irum Hamid Hameed was involved in the crash. The injured were taken to the District Headquarters Teaching Hospital for medical treatment. Police have detained the MNA’s son and the car’s driver in connection with the incident.

Eyewitnesses reported that the accident occurred due to overspeeding. The car first hit a motorcyclist, breaking his leg, and then collided with another motorcycle.

The second collision resulted in the death of six-year-old Arshad on the spot, while his sister Khadija, grandfather Ghulam Muhammad, aunt Shagufta Bibi, and another unidentified motorcyclist sustained serious injuries.

Police confirmed that the vehicle has been impounded and that an investigation is underway. MNA Irum Hamid Hameed and former MNA Hamid Hameed voluntarily handed over their son Ahmad to the police, stating that they wanted the law to take its due course.

According to Cantt Police, both the MNA’s son and the driver remain in custody as authorities continue to investigate the cause and circumstances of the fatal accident.
