Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is Finally Getting A Long Overdue Upgrade

Samsung appears to be raising the bar for charging speeds with its upcoming Galaxy S26 series. While the current Galaxy S25 Ultra supports 45W wired charging, reports suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will boost this to 60W. In addition to faster wired charging, the S26 Ultra is also expected to improve its wireless charging performance.

According to tipster UniverseIce, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature 25W wireless charging, up from the 15W speed found on the S25 Ultra. This marks a 10W increase in wireless charging capability. The S25 Ultra included 4.5W reverse wireless charging, but it remains uncertain if the S26 Ultra will maintain or enhance this feature.

The standard Galaxy S26 and the S26+ are also rumored to benefit from faster wireless charging. Both models are said to support 20W wireless charging, a step up from the 15W offered by their predecessors.
