CDA Orders Early Completion of Development in Three Sectors

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has directed its engineering wing to speed up the issuance of possession letters for thousands of developed plots in sectors E-12, C-14 and I-12 while completing the remaining development work at the earliest.

During a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Sohail Ashraf, officials informed participants that 2,200 plots in E-12 and more than 5,000 plots in I-12 are ready for possession. Most plots in C-14 have also been developed and are ready for handover.

The chairman instructed the engineering wing to complete the remaining work in the three sectors without delay. Officials said development has exceeded 90 percent in I-12 and C-14, while nearly half of the work in E-12 is still pending.

The meeting also decided to review the status of stalled sectors, including E-13, F-13, D-13, C-13, C-15 and C-16, during the next meeting to accelerate their development.

Sector E-12, launched in 1989, has remained incomplete for decades despite the sale of more than 4,000 plots, highlighting the long delays in the project’s development.
