Honor 500 Pro Gets Detailed Ahead of Launch as Pre-Orders Open

Honor’s 500 series is expected to debut in China soon, and both models are already available for pre-order. As the launch approaches, new information has surfaced about the Honor 500 Pro, offering a clearer look at its key hardware.

According to details shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor 500 Pro will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2736 x 1264 pixels.

The device is also said to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, supported by as much as 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

Honor is reportedly equipping the phone with a custom C1 modem and an E2 energy management chip, adding more proprietary components to the device’s internal setup.

The leak claims the Honor 500 Pro will carry an 8,000mAh silicon battery, a significant jump compared to typical flagship capacities. On the back, the phone is expected to include a 200MP primary camera. The device will also use a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for biometric security.

Honor recently released the design, color options, and memory variants for both phones in the 500 lineup. Although the company has not confirmed an official launch date, an announcement is expected in the near future.
