The smartphone and tablet market is preparing for a new arrival, as Philips-branded devices move closer to launch. The brand will be introduced by Zenotel, an Indian company that has secured the rights to use the Philips name for mobiles and tablets. Zenotel has been hinting at this launch for several weeks, and new leaks now offer a clearer picture of one of the first products.
The device, identified as the Philips Pad Air, is expected to arrive as a tablet. Early information suggests it will run on the Unisoc T606 chipset and include 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.
The screen is said to offer a 2K resolution paired with a 90Hz refresh rate, while a 7,000 mAh battery will handle power needs along with support for 18W wired charging.
Reports indicate that the Pad Air is set for release in the first quarter of next year, meaning it should arrive before the end of March.
Zenotel is also preparing a wider ecosystem of Philips-branded devices. Smartwatches and laptops are part of this plan, with those models expected to reach the market in 2026.
