Samsung has introduced a new tenkeyless Smart Keyboard that can connect to your Galaxy phone, tablet, or laptop, and it can stay paired with all three at the same time.
The keyboard uses Bluetooth 5.4 and supports up to three devices at once. A dedicated switch key lets you move between connected devices, and small LEDs above the key show which device is currently active. There is no 2.4GHz dongle included. Samsung says the keyboard fits well into desk setups that use an external monitor, especially for users who rely on DeX.
The Smart Keyboard features a dedicated DeX key. The F1, F2, and F3 keys can also work as app shortcuts, but these functions require One UI 8.0 or newer.
Samsung also added an AI key. On Android phones and tablets, it launches either Samsung Bixby or Google Gemini. On Windows devices, it triggers Microsoft Copilot.
The keyboard has a slim 4.3mm profile and an aluminum finish. It weighs 218g and offers a 19mm key pitch. Power comes from a CR2032 coin cell battery, which Samsung says delivers long-lasting use, although it has not shared specific battery life numbers. The choice of a coin cell battery is unusual, as AAA batteries are generally more practical and can be replaced with rechargeable options.
Samsung has also not released a matching wireless mouse. This makes switching between three devices less smooth, since users will need a separate mouse that supports multi-device switching and must change devices on both the keyboard and the mouse individually. Brands like Logitech continue to offer more complete solutions in this area.
The Samsung Smart Keyboard (EJ-B7800) is now available in several markets. It costs $110 in the US and will reach more regions soon.
