Internationally, gold prices surged by $77 to $4,142 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Silver prices in Pakistan also saw a notable increase, rising by Rs. 152 to Rs. 5,422 per tola.

Global gold markets continued their upward momentum on Tuesday, reaching the highest level in over a week. The rally came as dovish remarks from US Federal Reserve policymakers renewed hopes for a rate cut in December, helping gold advance despite a strong dollar.

Spot gold was up 0.1% at $4,140.85 per ounce by 0457 GMT, following a 1.8% jump on Monday.
