Nine New Driver Training Schools Open Across Multan Region

Multan Region Police have expanded their driver training network by establishing nine new training schools across the division over the past year, marking a major step toward improving road safety and public service delivery.

Regional Police Officer Capt (retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry said the addition of these institutions has strengthened the system and made driving education more effective.

The new schools are located in all four districts of the Multan Division and offer modern simulators, trained instructors, upgraded classrooms, and dedicated areas for practical training.

According to officials, more than thirteen thousand citizens have completed training this year, with a significant number of women participating. Police say the growing enrollment reflects increasing awareness of safe driving practices and improved access to structured training for the public.

The RPO noted that the expanded network is helping promote better road discipline, responsible driving habits, and a meaningful reduction in traffic accidents. He said the initiative aligns with the police department’s efforts to improve public-facing services and create safer travel conditions for local communities.

He added that the Multan Region Police plan to further broaden such citizen-focused programs to ensure convenience, transparency, and service standards that meet modern requirements.
