The Balochistan High Court has revised its upcoming winter vacation schedule, issuing a new notification for the principal seat in Quetta.
According to the updated notice, the winter break will now be observed from 22 December 2025 (Monday) to 21 February 2026 (Saturday). During this period, the court will remain closed for routine civil proceedings. Regular hearings will resume on 23 February 2026 (Monday).
The notification states that Vacation Judges will remain available to hear urgent matters, including petitions and miscellaneous applications, throughout the holiday period. Applications will be received daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Cases that cannot be resolved immediately will be taken up once the court formally reopens.
The court has also issued revised office and court timings for the winter recess:
- Office Timing
- Monday to Thursday and Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Court Timing
- Monday to Thursday and Saturday: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
The notification has been issued by the Registrar under the instructions of the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court.
