Gold Prices Again Increase in Pakistan, Silver Hits Record High

Gold and silver prices in Pakistan surged on Thursday, with silver hitting a new all-time high in the local market.

The price of gold per tola climbed to Rs. 443,562 after gaining Rs. 500 during the day, while 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 380,282 following an increase of Rs. 428, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Earlier in the day, gold price per tola had reached Rs. 443,062 after a rise of Rs. 1,200. The international price of gold also edged higher, up by $5 to reach $4,212 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices set a new record, increasing by Rs. 85 to reach Rs. 6,452 per tola. This marks the highest level ever recorded for silver in the local market.
