All six existing PSL franchises have received a significant valuation boost, nearly tripling their previous worth, according to well-placed sources.
In the inaugural PSL season, Quetta Gladiators, champions of the 2019 edition, were the lowest-valued team at USD 1.1 million per year for a 10-year ownership period, at an exchange rate of Rs. 105 per dollar.
Today, with the exchange rate exceeding Rs. 280, Quetta Gladiators are once again the lowest-priced franchise, now valued at roughly Rs. 360 million per year.

Sources noted that while PSL teams’ valuations have increased, the annual player budget remains unchanged at USD 1.4 million per team.
