Schedule Announced for Pakistan’s Test Tour of the West Indies

Pakistan are set for another red-ball assignment in the Caribbean, with a two-Test tour of the West Indies confirmed for July–August 2026.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) vice-president Azim Bassarath, who also heads the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board, announced the tour during an executive luncheon at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain.

He said the series will run from 15 July to 7 August 2026 and will count towards the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) cycle.

As part of the itinerary, Pakistan will open the trip with a four-day warm-up match at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy (BLCA). The Academy will then host the second Test, while the first Test has been allocated to Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.

Pakistan vs West Indies Test Schedule

Match Venue
Warm-up Match Brian Lara Cricket Academy
1st Test Queen’s Park Oval
2nd Test Brian Lara Cricket Academy

Bassarath also confirmed that the BLCA now holds full international accreditation, clearing it to stage fixtures in all three formats at the highest level.

The tour fits into Pakistan’s Future Tours Programme (FTP), though the detailed day-by-day schedule and start times for each match are expected to be released closer to the series.

Pakistan and the West Indies have built a closely fought Test rivalry in recent years. Their most recent series, played in January 2026, finished 1-1, mirroring the drawn two-Test rubber during Pakistan’s last red-ball visit to the Caribbean in 2021.

Earlier in the year, Pakistan had also toured the region for three ODIs and three T20Is, adding further familiarity with West Indian conditions ahead of next summer’s Test showdown.
