The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Friday launched an enforcement operation against the illegal housing scheme Qaim Mansion located in Mouza Adiala along Adiala Road.
During the operation, RDA teams demolished the scheme’s site office, removed illegal structures, and cleared unlawfully blocked pathways and access roads. The enforcement squad also ordered the developers to immediately halt all construction activity and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza said the authority will not allow illegal or unauthorized developments to operate in the city. She said RDA will continue strict enforcement actions to safeguard public interest, maintain discipline in urban planning, and curb fraudulent real estate practices.
She urged citizens to avoid investing in unauthorized housing schemes and advised them to verify the legal status of projects through official RDA channels before making any financial commitments.
The director general also directed the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering Directorate to take firm action against all illegal housing schemes, unauthorized commercial activities, booking offices, and encroachments, without discrimination or leniency.
