Dell has expanded its budget gaming lineup in China with the launch of two new monitors under the SE HG series, aimed at entry-level gamers seeking high refresh rates at lower prices.
Dell has introduced the SE2426HG and SE2726HG gaming monitors, both of which feature 1080p resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. The two models differ mainly in screen size, with the SE2426HG offering a 23.8-inch panel and the SE2726HG stepping up to a 27-inch display.
Both monitors use Fast IPS panels with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Dell rates the gray-to-gray response time as low as 0.5ms in Extreme mode. Brightness is listed at 300 nits, with a native contrast ratio of 1000:1. Color coverage reaches 99% of the sRGB color space, and both displays support HDR10.
The monitors also include AMD FreeSync Premium support to reduce screen tearing during gameplay.
Dell has added anti-glare coating, low blue light mode, and flicker-free technology to improve comfort during extended gaming or work sessions. Viewing angles are rated at 178 degrees horizontally and vertically.
Design-wise, both monitors feature slim bezels measuring 5.9mm on the top and sides, with a thicker 14.69mm bottom bezel. The included stand supports tilt adjustment only, with no height or swivel options. However, both models support 100 × 100mm VESA mounting for alternative setups.
In terms of ports, the SE2426HG and SE2726HG each feature two HDMI 2.1 TMDS ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. All inputs support 1080p at 240Hz with HDR and variable refresh rate enabled. Dell includes a 1.8-meter HDMI cable in the box.
On Dell’s official Chinese website, the SE2426HG is priced at about $106, while the larger SE2726HG costs roughly $134. Both monitors come with a three-year limited hardware warranty, in China at least.
