Xiaomi 17 Ultra Launch Date Confirmed, Official Design Revealed

Xiaomi has confirmed key launch details for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, following a series of teasers shared last week.

Xiaomi announced in a post on Weibo that the 17 Ultra will be unveiled in China on December 25. Alongside the launch date, the company also revealed the phone’s rear design and official color options.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be offered in three colors: Starry Green, White, and Black. Xiaomi confirmed that the device will feature a triple rear camera setup.

According to the teasers, the Starry Green variant uses mineral particles embedded in the rear panel to create a metallic finish. Xiaomi also confirmed that the 17 Ultra will feature a flat display, segmented volume buttons, and a body thickness of 8.29mm.

While Xiaomi has not yet confirmed full specifications, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The phone is rumored to include a 1-inch type main camera sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and upgraded Leica optics.

Xiaomi is also expected to introduce the 17 Ultra to global markets in the coming months following its China debut.
