Oppo may bring its next flagship smartphones to market earlier than previously rumored, according to a new report from China. The Find X9 Ultra was earlier expected to launch in April 2026, but fresh information suggests Oppo has moved up its release timeline. The company is also said to have accelerated plans for the Find N6 foldable.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, Oppo will unveil the Find X9 Ultra in China in March next year. This would place the launch roughly a month earlier than its predecessor, as the Find X8 Ultra debuted in April.
Separately, the Oppo Find N6 is tipped to launch before the Chinese Lunar New Year in 2026, which falls on February 17. If accurate, this would make it one of Oppo’s earliest foldable launches to date.
Find X9 Ultra: Expected Specifications
The Find X9 Ultra is rumored to feature a dual 200MP rear camera setup, along with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 10x optical zoom. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and is confirmed to include a battery with a capacity exceeding 7,000mAh.
Find N6: Foldable Details
The Find N6 foldable is also expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and pack a battery larger than 6,000mAh. It is tipped to feature an 8.1-inch inner display and a 6.6-inch cover screen. The rear camera setup could include a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
For context, Oppo unveiled the Find N5 in China in February this year. Unlike the Find N3, which launched in India as the OnePlus Open, Oppo is said to be considering bringing the Find N6 to India under its own branding.
Oppo has not officially confirmed the launch timelines or specifications for either device.
