Honor has confirmed the launch date of the Power 2 and shared official details about its rear design and color options. The upcoming smartphone is set to feature a large 10,080mAh battery.
In a post on Weibo, Honor announced that the Power 2 will debut in China on January 5. Alongside the date, the company revealed images of the phone’s rear design, which closely resembles the layout seen on the iPhone 17 Pro.
The Honor Power 2 features a rectangular rear camera module that spans the width of the device. The module houses three camera cutouts and gives the phone a design language similar to recent premium smartphones.
Honor confirmed that the Power 2 will be available in Rising Sun Orange, Magic Night Black, and Snow White color options. The orange variant closely matches the shade seen on Apple’s recent devices.
Honor will sell the Power 2 in 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage configurations. The device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset.
According to a recent leak, the Honor Power 2 is expected to feature a 50MP primary rear camera. The phone is also rumored to come with a 6.79-inch LTPS AMOLED display, though Honor has not officially confirmed the screen specifications yet.
More details about the Honor Power 2 are expected to be shared closer to its January 5 launch.
